WB Panchayat Exam Preparation ("we," "our," or "us") operates the WB Panchayat Exam Preparation mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our App.

Account Information: Name, email address, profile picture (provided via Google Sign-In)
Authentication Data: Firebase Authentication UID and tokens
Profile Data: Display name, profile photo (if uploaded)
1.2 Usage Data
Study Progress: Subjects studied, chapters completed, quiz scores, mock test attempts and results
App Activity: Study time, daily targets, bookmarks, downloaded content
Leaderboard Data: Performance rankings and scores
Device Information: Device type, operating system version, unique device identifiers
1.3 Notifications With your permission, we collect Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) tokens to send you push notifications about study reminders, new content, and updates.

3.1 Google Firebase

Supabase PostgreSQL database with Row-Level Security (RLS) policies
Encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) for all data transmission

While we implement commercially reasonable security measures, no method is 100% secure.

Leaderboard: Your display name and scores may be visible to other users
If required by law, regulation, or legal process

6. Children's Privacy Our App is intended for users preparing for West Bengal Panchayat recruitment exams. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
7. Your Rights
Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold
Correction: Request correction of inaccurate data
Deletion: Request deletion of your account and data
Opt-out of Notifications: Disable via device settings
Ad Preferences: Opt out of personalized ads via device ad settings

8. Data Retention We retain your data as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, we will delete your data within 30 days, except where required by law.

Notifications: To send study reminders and content updates
Photo Library: To set a profile picture (only when you initiate)
Internet Access: Required for app functionality
10. Changes to This Policy We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance.
