WHY ACT

Palestinians are grieving the murder of their children, parents, grandparents, siblings, extended family, neighbors, journalists, teachers, and doctors.  They are facing imposed starvation and water deprivation.  They are being bombed.  Many are now homeless and facing dropping temperatures.  They are struggling through serious injuries.  And they don't have access to sufficient medical care.  And they are facing disease from forced displacement, overcrowding, and exposure to the grave environmental hazards of a warzone.

Those of us who are residents of the US - the democracy that can stop or continue to extend this genocide - have the ethical obligation to take action.  We must speak up and/or support efforts to end this genocide: a genocide being committed with our government's support, our tax money, and our weapons.

There are so many different ways to meaningfully support the movement for Palestinians' survival and human rights.
