2. https://forms.gle/LnByfpo4e5WyYFEE7 to review and sign the Concussion Athletics form and the Lindsay Law form.
As of now, kindergarten is not included in the Wooster Parks league. From past experience, kindergarteners struggle to play with the 2nd and 1st grade teams. In unique circumstances we may allow a kindergartner to play if we feel it is appropriate and beneficial to the child.
Soccer cleats - (no shoes that have a toe cleat)
Long socks
Shin gaurds
Water bottle
Dark or black shorts / athletic pants perferable
Size of soccer ball: Grades 1&2 use size 3. Grades 3-6 use size 4. Grade 7 up use size 5.
We do have some donated used equipment, mainly soccer shoes. If you would like to see if we have a second hand pair of shoes that you can use, please email us what size you are looking for.
The soccer jerseys belong to the program and must be returned at the last game.
The jerseys may NOT be worn outside of games. (Not to school, at home, out and about, etc)
We have done a custom jersey order in the past, and may do that in the future.
In rare circumstances, a child can play up a level. This is at our discretion. Please contact us if this is someting you are interested in.
Games are Wooster fields are rarely called off due to rain. It is extremely difficult for games to be rescheduled. Please check the weather before games and practices, and be prepared for the cold, heat, or rain.
From Wooster Parks and Rec: If the weather is questionable on a game day, please call
330-263-5203 for a report. Any changes in the schedule will be announced on the recorded message.
Practices are not usually canceled for drizzling rain or rain that may clip the start or end of practice. If practices is canceled, it will be sent out as a text by the coaches, posted to facebook, and posted to this website. PLEASE be on hand to pick up your child if practice is cut 10-15 minutes short due to bad weather.
