Pastor Jenks Brutus is a graduate of Andrews University, where he earned a degree in Pastoral Ministry. Following his studies, he accepted a pastoral call with the Northeastern Conference of Seventh-day Adventists, serving as Associate Pastor at the Temple Salem SDA Church in Boston, Massachusetts. After three and a half years in that role, Pastor Brutus embraced God’s call to full-time evangelism with Real Truth Ministries, a self-supporting ministry of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
One of the great highlights of his ministry came during an evangelistic outreach in Cape Town, South Africa, where, working alongside several ministers, over 600 souls were led to Christ. Pastor Brutus has since conducted evangelistic crusades, weeks of prayer, seminars, and counseling ministries in numerous cities across the United States.
In 2008, he was called to shepherd the Friendship SDA Church in Elmira, New York, where he and his family completed four years of spirit-filled service. In 2012, he accepted a new assignment to the Gordon Heights and Central Islip churches in Long Island, New York. Four years later, in 2016, he was transferred to the Shiloh SDA Church in Springfield, Massachusetts, where he inspired members to live Christ-centered, Spirit-filled lives. Most recently, in January 2022, Pastor Brutus was appointed to serve as Pastor of The Waymark SDA Church in Boston, Massachusetts.
In addition to his pastoral ministry, Pastor Brutus is a member of Faith Writers, an international community of Christian writers, and has published articles on the Christian journey. He is blessed to share ministry with his lovely wife, the former Nancy Bien-Aime, a dedicated nurse. Together with their three children, Jedidiah, Hannah, and Sarah, they are committed to serving the Lord wherever He leads.
Pastor Brutus lives by the words of D. L. Moody: “Consecrate, then Concentrate”—doing all things to the glory of God.
Dr. Pastor Carveth L. DeLeon is a devoted follower of Jesus Christ who places the Cross at the center of his life and ministry. Originally from the island of Jamaica, West Indies, his call to ministry began with a simple word from God: “Go.” From that moment, Christ has been leading the way.
Before entering full-time ministry, Pastor DeLeon earned a degree in Mechanical Engineering, which laid the foundation for his disciplined and analytical approach to life and service. He later prepared for ministry at the Seventh-day Adventist Theological Seminary at Andrews University, where he earned a Master of Arts in Pastoral Ministry (MAPM). He also holds a Master of Science in Management (MSM) and a Doctor of Ministry (D.Min.) in Pastoral Counseling.
Pastor DeLeon has served the church in many leadership roles, including the Atlantic Union Executive Committee and the Atlantic Union College Corporation Board. Currently, he serves as Pastor of both the Emmanuel SDA Church in Providence, Rhode Island and the Immanuel SDA Church in Cambridge, Massachusetts, where he is passionate about community outreach and evangelism.
He is blessed to share life and ministry with his best friend and wife, Jennifer (née Dickens), an experienced educator with a Master’s degree in Education. Together they are the proud parents of three children—Joel, Abigail, and Jason. The DeLeon family is deeply committed to Christ-centered family ministry, helping both the young and mature to fall in love with Jesus and growstronger in faith across every season of life. In his free time, Pastor DeLeon enjoys playing tennis, taking leisure walks, and spending quality time with his family.
His favorite Scripture is Philippians 1:6: “Being confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.”

Dr. Pastor James W. S. Yansen, Jr., is a committed Christian for whom the Cross of Jesus Christ holds preeminence. Christ’s life, ministry, death, resurrection, and soon return are his raison d’être. His highest hopes, deepest passions, loftiest aspirations are all wrapped up in His relationship with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
James has the awesome privilege of sharing in kingdom service with his wife and their two children. This family circle is James' first and most important sphere of ministry. This priority of family is one of the cornerstones of his ministry.
It has truly been a humbling joy for James to serve as a co-laborer, together with Christ in the ministry of reconciliation for the past 23 years. His favorite Bible passage is 1 Corinthians 9:16,
“For though I preach the gospel, I have nothing to glory of: for necessity is laid upon me; yea, woe is unto me, if I preach not the gospel!” His favorite quote is, “There is no limit to the usefulness of the one who, putting self aside, makes room for the working of the Holy Spirit upon his heart and lives a life wholly consecrated to God. . . . So mightily can God work when men give themselves up to the control of His Spirit” (Testimonies, vol. 8, pp. 18, -20).
Together, James and his family are committed to living and manifesting the character of Jesus Christ in every aspect of their lives.
