This guide will be helping you out step by step on creating a character for the Waymaker roleplay server. Before we begin, please make sure you have a Waymaker Forums account. The link can be found up above. Now let us proceed.
Within the Roleplaying community there is a few basic fundamentals that everyone should know when creating a Character and playing out the character so they don't cause disruptive behavior and unfair gameplay. Without knowing what these are and making sure to avoid them. They could lead up to staff unapprove your character and at worse, cause a temporary ban depending on the case. With that said, these things will be described below for you to read and give a clear understanding why these are not accepted.
Definition; Creating the "Perfect" character. I.E everything good has happened to them or everything bad always happens to them. No in-between and a refusal of any sorts of character development.
Definition; Taking OOC (Out of Character) Information, and using it In-character to gain a unfair advantage.
Definition; Nulling or Forcing other player's actions for your own benefit. Making your character the best at any action and does not consider any consequences.
These are abbreviations that the community uses often and should also be known what they mean for a better understanding.
All actions/chat are not counted in character and therefor should not be treated as if they were. All OOC messages are marked in gray within the game.
The vise-visa of OOC, where all messages and actions are counted as the experience of your player character and others. This chat in game will start with your set character name or other's set character names. Messages marked in white.
