Greetings! Yang Wang (IEEE Senior Member) earned a PhD degree from The University of New South Wales, Kensington, Australia. He is currently a Hubing Professor (斛兵学者) and PhD supervisor (博士生导师) at department of computer science and artificial intelligence, Hefei University of Technology, China, while selected to National Talent Program - Ten Thousands Talent Program (国家高层次人才特殊支持计划 青年拔尖人才), *** Talent Program of Anhui Province (安徽省***计划), Leading Scientist of Anhui Province (安徽省领军人才), China. He has been selected to Top Ranked Scientist list by Stanford University at Artificial Intelligence & Image Processing subfield on the successive year 2024, 2023, 2022 and 2021. Before that, He has been an Associate Professor at Faculty of Electronic Engineering, Dalian University of Technology, China; a Research Fellow at University of New South Wales, Australia. His research has been supported by various research fundings from National Natural Science Foundation of China (主持国家自然科学基金区域联合基金重点项目,面上项目等), CCF-NetEase ThunderFire Innovation Research Funding (CCF-网易雷火创新科学基金) etc. So far, he has published 100 research papers, including 10 ESI highly cited papers, most of which are (to be) appeared in the major venues, such as IEEE Trans. Pattern Analysis and Machine Intelligence (T-PAMI), Artificial Intelligence (Elsevier), International Journal of Computer Vision (IJCV), CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, KDD, IJCAI, AAAI, ACM SIGIR, ACM Multimedia, IEEE TIP, IEEE TNNLS, IEEE TMM, ACM TOIS, Machine Learning (Springer), ACM TKDD, IEEE TKDE, VLDB Journal, SCIENCE CHINA Information Sciences (中国科学: 信息科学) etc. Yang was the winner of Best Research Paper Runner-up Award for PAKDD 2014, Hot Paper Award (热点论文奖) for Science China: Information Sciences 2024, while was a (Senior) program committee member for various leading conferences such as CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, AAAI, ACL, ECML/PKDD etc, while regularly served as the invited reviewer for National Natural Science Foundation of China (国家自然科学, 基金 优秀青年基金(海外)项目,联合基金重点项目,面上项目,地区基金项目通讯评审专家), China Association for Science and Technology (中国科协科技人才奖项评审专家), Dutch Research Council, along with more than 15 leading international journals such as IEEE TPAMI, JMLR (Journal of Machine Learning Research) IEEE TIP, ACM TOIS (Special Issue Proposal), Machine Learning (Springer) etc, highlighting an outstanding reviewer award for Neurocomputing (An international journal), with google scholar citations 7000+, H-index 44, a Guest Editor for numerous journals, such as ACM TOMM, IEEE Multimedia Magazine, Pattern Recognition Letter, a program chair for special session of ACM ICMR 2022, 2021, IEEE ICME 2021, an area chair for ACM Multimedia 2024, meanwhile serving as Associate Editor for ACM Transactions on Information Systems (ACM TOIS, CCF Rank A).
