Unfortunately Wacoans don't care or don't know how to care for lake Waco. According to our research we have found to incentivize volunteers, create more trash cans, and focus on recycling. Our goal is to make Lake Waco as clean as we can. By employing homeless people we can also try to end homelessness.

As of 2021, Waco has 143 homeless people. One of our goals is to make that number go to 0. And about 30% of people in Waco are in poverty. Driving down Shore Drive people are used to beautiful views of Lake Waco, but just a couple hundred feet off the shore, empty cups litter the roadway. Waco, TX -Reports of trash piles of garbage are piling up around Lake Waco, leaving many upset people. Lake Waco is in a drought. It has nearly gone down six feet and does not intent to stop.

Goals

Our goal is to hire people in poverty or homeless people to clean Lake Waco and end poverty and homelessness.

things that we do that dont help the lake

When you lose a line when fishing that pollutes the Lake. when you don't take hook out of a fish while fishing that leaves the fish hurt for the rest of it's life.
