Waves in One World
Organisers:
Dan Ratliff (Northumbria)
Paul Milewski (Bath)
Waves in One World is a weekly webinar series, bringing together those within the Mathematical Sciences waves community to present their work and keep us all connected virtually whilst current events keep us physically apart due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This series focuses on waves across the sciences, including fluid dynamics, quantum gases, acoustics and many others aligned with research groups across the world, such as the SIAM focus group in Nonlinear Waves and Coherent Structures.
The talks are hosted by the ICMS in Edinburgh using Zoom and will run 3-5pm on Wednesdays starting from the 22nd April. You can join the mailing list to receive a link by emailing daniel.ratliff@northumbria.ac.uk or by filling out this form. The talk schedule for the coming three weeks can be found under the Upcoming Talks tab and you can also submit a talk for the series in the Abstract Submission session.
This effort is part of the One World series of seminars, pioneered in probability and PDEs, (whose seminars may also be of interest to you). A list of One World seminars is available here.
