Waverly Karate Club

Since 1972 the Waverly Karate Club has been serving Waverly and surrounding communities.  In 1993 Master Glenn Engel (then Cho Dan = 1st degree black belt) became the owner of the club.  In 2015 Master John Jensen took over the studio and has continued the strong tradition of focus on the students and martial arts excellence.  We enjoy sharing the traditional Korean style of martial arts known as Tang Soo Do with many hundreds of students.

We train for self improvement and self defense, not competition, although we do participate in many tournaments.  Hyung (forms), weapons, meditation, kyuck-pa (breaking), self-defense, falls, kicks, blocks, and punches are just some of what we work on.

Stop by for a free lesson, or just to watch and see what it's all about.  We welcome families and individuals alike and have several package deals that make our already low prices go even further!

See you in the Dojang!  -Master Jensen
