Support (Dana)

Generosity is the voluntary giving of a gift.  This includes not only material gifts, but also gifts of your time, energy, knowledge, or forgiveness.  

When the Buddha was asked where a gift should be given, he replied simply, "Wherever the heart feels inspired." 

If you are interested in donating your time to help with the daily upkeep of the monastery, help would be appreciated with the following daily chores:

Preparing breakfast for the monks (7:30am-8:30am)

Sweeping the grounds with the monks (usually around 7:30am-10:00am)

Preparing lunch for the monks (8:30am-10:30am)

Cleaning the kitchen after lunch (11:00am-12:30pm)

*If you have any special set of skills and would like to help in your skillset area, 

please speak with Maechee Sarah or with one of the monks.*

Should you want to donate to Wat Buddharatanaram, cash, check, or donations through Zelle are appreciated.   Should you wish to donate your time, you are welcome to help out with chores in the morning, after morning chanting, or with cleaning up after lunch.
