WaterTight (“WaterTight,” “we,” “us”) is built to keep your data on your device. We do not collect, sell, or share your personal information, and the app has no account or login.
None that identifies you. The hydration data you enter — your logs, goals, drinks, reminders, and settings — is stored locally on your device. If you add the widget, this data is shared with it through a private on-device App Group container. It is not transmitted to us or to any third party.
Apple Health sync is optional. If you enable it, WaterTight writes the water (and caffeine) you log to Apple Health so it appears under Nutrition. WaterTight does not read your Health data and does not transmit it anywhere. Health data is governed by Apple’s privacy terms; you can revoke access at any time in Settings ▸ Health ▸ Data Access & Devices.
If you enable reminders, WaterTight schedules local notifications on your device. They are not sent through any server and involve no personal data.
The optional Pro subscription and Lifetime unlock are processed by Apple through the App Store. We never receive your payment-card details. Apple provides us only the information needed to confirm your purchase and entitlement (via StoreKit), which contains no personal identifiers.
None. WaterTight contains no analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking SDKs, and does not track you across other apps or websites.
We do not sell, rent, or share your information with anyone.
Because your data lives on your device, deleting the app removes it. Any entries already written to Apple Health remain there until you delete them in the Health app.
WaterTight is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from them.
We may update this policy; any changes will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
