Decorate the cover of your nature journal with things that you like about nature.
On the inside of the front cover, write your name and the following 3 phrases, which you will revisit with each new entry:
I wonder
I notice
It reminds me of
Each time you make a nature journal entry make sure to include these things:
Date
Time of day (morning, midday, evening, etc.)
Location
Weather
Nature Journaling IS NOT about drawing a pretty picture. IT IS about recording as much detail as you can.
Start practicing in your nature journal. It may take time to build up our observation skills, but it sure is fun!
