1. Introduction

Water Reminder ("the App") is a daily hydration tracking application developed by AAR App Studio. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it. This Privacy Policy outlines what information the App handles, what third-party services are used, and how your data is protected.

2. Information We Do NOT Collect

We do not directly collect, store, sell, or transmit any Personally Identifiable Information (PII). The App does not require user registration or account creation, and does not collect:

- Name, email address, or phone number

- Precise GPS location data

- Financial or payment information

- Personal hydration history on external servers

3. Local Storage (Your Hydration Data)

All your personal hydration tracking data is stored locally on your device using AsyncStorage. This includes:

- Daily water intake logs (7-day history)

- Daily hydration target (ml)

- Reminder intervals and notification preferences

This data remains strictly on your device and is never sent to any external server. Uninstalling the application will permanently erase this locally stored data.

4. Third-Party Advertising & Data Collection (Google AdMob)

The App displays advertisements to support free access and ongoing maintenance. We use Google AdMob (provided by Google LLC) to serve banner advertisements.

While the App developer does not collect or access your personal data, the Google Mobile Ads SDK may automatically process certain device data in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy, such as:

- Device & Advertising Identifiers (e.g., Google Advertising ID / AAID)

- Device Information (device model, operating system version, screen resolution)

- Network Information (IP address, used for coarse geographic ad localization and fraud prevention)

- Performance and diagnostic metrics related to ad serving

We request non-personalized ads where applicable to minimize tracking while maintaining necessary ad delivery and fraud detection.

5. Internet Permission

The App requires an active internet connection solely to load advertisements provided by Google AdMob. All core hydration tracking features, calculations, and local notifications continue to operate offline.

6. Push Notifications

Reminder notifications are scheduled and triggered entirely locally on your device via expo-notifications. No notification tokens or schedule records leave your device. You can customize or disable reminders at any time from the App's settings or your device system settings.

7. User Choices and Advertising Opt-Out

You can manage or opt out of personalized advertisements at the operating system level:

- Android: Navigate to Settings > Google > Ads (or Settings > Privacy > Ads) to reset or delete your Advertising ID.

- iOS: Navigate to Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking to adjust app tracking permissions.

8. Children’s Privacy

The App does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be indicated by a revised "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the App following updates signifies acceptance of the amended policy.
