Privacy Policy — Water My Plants Reminder

This privacy policy applies to the Android app Water My Plants Reminder
(package name com.bgappsch.plantsreminder), published by BG Apps ("we", "us").
1. Your plant data stays on your device
The plants you add, their watering intervals, reminder times, watering
history dates, and any photo you attach to a plant are stored only in a
local database and local file storage on your device. This data is never
uploaded, synced, or sent to us or to any third party. There is no account,
sign-up, or cloud backup — uninstalling the app permanently deletes this
data.
2. Camera and photo access
If you choose to attach a photo to a plant, the app opens your device's
camera app or photo gallery to let you pick one. The app only receives the
image you select; it does not access your camera or photos at any other
time, and the photo is saved locally on your device only, in the app's own
private storage.
3. Notifications
The app schedules local watering reminder notifications directly on your
device using Android's notification system. No reminder content or
schedule data is sent anywhere — the notifications are generated and shown
entirely on-device.
4. Advertising (Google AdMob)
The app shows banner ads served by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect and
process data such as your advertising ID, IP address, coarse location and
device information to provide and measure ads. In the European Economic
Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland you will be asked for consent via
a consent dialog before personalized ads are shown, and you can change your
choice anytime under Settings → Privacy options in the app.

5. Permissions
The app requests the following Android permissions:
- Notifications (POST_NOTIFICATIONS): to show you watering reminders.
- Receive boot completed: to re-arm your watering reminders after your
device restarts.
- Internet: used by the advertising SDK.
The app does not access your contacts, location, microphone, or files
beyond a photo you explicitly choose to attach to a plant.
6. Children
The app is a general-purpose plant care tool and is not directed at
children.
7. Data deletion
Since all plant data is stored only on your device, you can delete it at
any time by removing individual plants in the app, or delete everything at
once by uninstalling the app.
8. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, the updated version will be published at this
URL with a new "last updated" date.
