Directions to Lock 2 Park and Waterford Harbor

The Canal Festival is located at 1 Tugboat Alley and Lock 2 Park. Parking is available on village streets, the Peebles Island Bridge parking lot on Second St and the boat launch parking lot at the base of First Street

Directions:

From the North:

• 87 South to Exit 8A
• Turn left onto Grooms Rd
• Stay on this road for about 6.5 miles as it becomes Guideboard Rd, Middletown Rd then 6th St.
• Take a left onto Broad Street
• Park in the area of 5th Street and enter festival at the Lock 2 access road

Or

• Take a right onto 4th, 3rd, 2nd or 1st Streets.
• Park on street and walk towards waterfront

From the South:

• 787 North to the end
• Take a right onto bridge into Waterford
• Stay on Saratoga Ave (Rt 32) for 1.4 miles
• Go over small bridge and bare right onto Broad St
• Park in the area of 5th Street and enter festival at the Lock 2 Access road

Or

• Take a right onto 4th, 3rd, 2nd or 1st Streets.
• Park on street and walk towards waterfront

From Lansingburgh:

• Take 2 Ave north to 126th St (Hannaford)
• Take a left onto bridge into Waterford
• Take a left onto 4th, 3rd, 2nd or 1st Streets.
• Park on street and walk towards waterfront

PARKING

Most parking is along the streets in Waterford. There is additional street parking behind the Canal on Mohawk Ave, South Street, and Burton Ave. There is a parking lot on Mohawk Ave right over the Fourth St Bridge. Map of Mohawk Avenue area _

The Festival grounds are easily accessed and within a few blocks walk from anywhere in the Village. Vehicles may be parked in any legal parking spot; please be aware of any signs that limit parking and be respectful of village residents' property.
