Origami Class

After Class Origami/Paper Folding Class  

• Description: Origami offers numerous benefits, including enhancing creativity,  improving concentration and patience, and strengthening hand-eye coordination. It also provides the joy of making things by hand and a sense of accomplishment. In this class, you will learn techniques ranging from basic to advanced, with all materials included in the class fee.  If you are interested in origami, feel free to join us for a fun experience and/or bring a friend! 

• Class Content:

  • Basic and advanced origami techniques

  • Animals, flowers, clothes

  • Rabbits, Dogs, Butterflies, cranes, and more

  • heart-shaped boxes, four-leaf clovers, envelopes, and more

• Age Requirement: 6 - 13 years of age

• Dates and Times: My classes last 2 hours from 3:30 - 5:30 p.m. on Friday from January 17th to May 10th at the Old Firehouse Art Gallery (667 4th Ave Longmont, CO 80501). They are designed to be taken weekly if possible (as we will build on the skills from the previous week).

• Price: $35/class

  • 25% of the class fee will support the Firehouse Art Center
