It was not uncommon for my cat's water bowl to be empty at times and every time I saw that it was empty, I felt bad. Typically, I would try to check every couple of hours but sometimes I would forget to do so. My inspiration for this project came from trying to make something that would notify me when the water bowl needed filling. Water Bowl Checker is able to do that by accurately identifying and alerting users of the water bowl's water level and thus preventing pets from getting thirsty throughout the day.
