AGES SERVED
Care is available for children ranging from 6 weeks to 5 years. With many years of experience in the early childhood field I highly encourage families that have children turning 4 before the December 1st deadline to look into preschool programs. Although I do teach some preschool curriculum here I do feel children would benefit more from being in an actual classroom setting to help prepare them for Kindergarten and beyond. The exception can be if your child is enrolled in a half day preschool program they can continue in my program until they begin kindergarten as long as they are able to maintain the routine of the program at Watch Me Grow Child Care.
HOURS OF OPERATION
Childcare will be based on a 9-hour day, 7:00am to 4:00pm, school year-round only. Childcare run's on the same calendar as Hudsonville Public School. If Hudsonville Public School's are closed for a snow day/ice day/heat day/unforeseen school closure, childcare will also be closed. During these unanticipated closures, your child's weekly payment remains the same.
*When securing a future spot, a 100% weekly payment will be needed to secure that space unless a short-term placement is found.
*Tuition is based on the spot, not on attendance.

For infants: This will vary based on gestational/developmental age of the baby. The focus will be on meeting the basic needs of the baby such as safety, being fed, having regular/often diaper changes, being well-rested, interactive and nurtured. I’ll maintain communication with parents to ensure I’m an extension of the routine being developed at home. Activities will include music and movement, floor time, tummy time, opportunities to stretch/strengthen neck muscles, arms and legs, sensory activities, reaching for/grasping toys, learning some baby sign language to help with verbal development, quiet time, and lots of stories and talking throughout the day. Once your child turns 12 months, we will begin discussing the transition to 1 nap a day and being on the same nap schedule as the older children in care.
