The first TIF districts are created in Washington, around the Washington Square and on a 100-acre plot north of Washington Road across from the golf course.  The Washington Road TIF expired in 2009 while the Washington Square TIF district continues.

St. Patrick's won the first team state championship in school history when the girls track team took home the prize.  Scoring team members were Lisa Bolton, Angela Bolton, Tita Barnes, Ann Franz, Sue Ann Ksycki, Debbie Mackoway, Le Tien, Phuong Tien, & Mary Ann To.

Harold's Hamburgers replaced the Mr. Quick restaurant in Sunnyland.

Gary Uftring moves his dealership from the old Essig Motors building to a brand new facility at 1860 Washington Road.
