1946

1946 was the year of the first American Legion Fall Festival on the square.  This tradition would continue on the square until 1963.

Mac's Bar & Dining Room opened in Beverly Manor at 2137 Washington Road.

The first recorded homecoming festivities at Washington Community High School occured in 1946.

Sippin' drinks with friends at Tully's on the Square.  Life was simple.
