Paving on Peoria Street was completed in 1904 down to Wood Street.
The city council passed a resolution requiring every male 21 years or older to give two days of labor to the city.
T.P. & W. constructed a new depot after a fire destroyed the old one. The new brick structure would survive over sixty years on the Washington landscape.
