Initial planning for the Waseca County food retail cooperative is supported by a $25,000 grant from the Trust for Civic Life, a national grantmaking collaborative supporting the community-led efforts that help Americans connect, solve problems together, and feel confident in a shared future. These funds will be used to engage our community in designing, participating, and investing into a grocery cooperative, as well as bring the needed technical expertise to turn community visions into action. This grant is fiscally sponsored by Region Nine Development Commission.
