Enrollment

Each participant must be enrolled in 4-H or FFA with all required fees paid before receiving tags.

• 4-H Registration: [$10.00 fee required] Register at 4H.ZSuite.org

• FFA Registration: [$15.00 dues paid to the High School Financial Office] Enrolled in an Ag Class during the 2025-26 school year.

Age Requirement 

• Exhibitors must be in the third (3rd) grade and eight (8) years of age, as of September 1, 2025, of the 4-H year. 

• Exhibitors can only show through the same season as their high school graduation and not be older than 19 as of January 1st. Exceptions: 1-FFA members working on an American FFA Degree. 2-Persons as defined by public law 98-527. In this special case, animals must still be the project animals of the exhibitor. 

Exhibitor Guidelines

• Exhibitors may show one animal per species (beef, swine, lamb, goat) OR two animals of one species plus one goat (maximum of two animals per species).

• All Grand and Reserve Champion animals must be sold.

• Each participant may only sell one animal at this year’s fair (*exception for exhibitors who have grand and reserve animals.)

• Grand and Reserve Champions may be drug tested. Please review the Utah Junior Livestock Code of Ethics and Market Animal Rules for details.

Offical dress

• The exhibitor’s personal appearance during the judging and sale must be clean and neatly dressed. (No T-shirts)

• 4-H - White shirt, short or long sleeved with fold-over collar, buttons, and a 4-H emblem (on left sleeve) OR shirt, tie, and green 4-H jacket. 

• FFA - A white shirt, tie and FFA jacket or white shirt with FFA Emblem.
