Join the Event: Getting to Rockbank
Located in the heart of Rockbank, Ian Cowie Recreation Reserve is a modern, spacious, and family-friendly venue. With large open green areas, playground facilities.
The simplest way to enter is via the Leakes Road interchange:
Exit the Freeway: From the Western Freeway (M8), take the Leakes Road exit.
Head South: Turn onto Leakes Road heading toward the Rockbank Train Station.
Turn onto Westcott Parade: * If coming from the City (Westbound): Turn left onto Westcott Parade immediately after exiting the freeway.
If coming from Melton (Eastbound): Cross over the freeway bridge on Leakes Road, then turn left onto Westcott Parade.
Arrive: Follow Westcott Parade for about 800 meters. The reserve will be on your right-hand side.
Take the Ballarat Line (V/Line) to Rockbank Railway Station.
Walking: Exit the station on the Westcott Parade side (South). Turn Left and walk along the footpath for about 10 minutes. The reserve will be on your right.
Route 456: (Sunshine Station – Melton).
Closest Stop: Get off at the Rockbank Caravan Park / Westcott Parade stop.
Direct Access: This bus stop is located directly in front of the reserve entrance—no long walk required!

Public Transport: Use the PTV Journey Planner to check weekend service times, as V/Line and bus frequencies can vary.
