1. National Guidelines for Rural Water Supply Services

Purpose: To assist stakeholders at Central, Districts, Community and Private sector levels in rural water supply sub-sector to ensure sustainability of the water supply services through effective operation and maintenance.

Purpose: To improve the capacity of operation and maintenance of motorized pump and borehole with hand pump.

Purpose: To acquire knowledge for daily water quality management and to identify potential solutions for water quality problems and water pollution.

Purpose: To make POs understand the O&M procedure and to help POs to develop their own O&M manual for each water supply system.

Purpose: To use as the a training tool for WATSAN officers and POs’ staff to develop O&M manual for each system.

Purpose: For all stakeholders in the water sector, mainly Districts and WASAC RWSS to understand their roles and tasks at each stage of rural water supply project cycle.

Purpose: To offer theoretical explanations and practical exercises on facilitation for District, Sector and Cell officers, as well as Private Operators to raise awareness among communities in order to motivate them to take responsibility for the daily maintenance of point water sources and public taps.
