Call of Duty is bringing Warzone to mobile, and they're so far along in the project that we're beginning to get the first details about the alpha and beta playtesting events. Here's an overview of everything you need to sign up and try Warzone Mobile.

We've known about Warzone on mobile for a long time. It was obvious they were going to make this game after the success of Call of Duty Mobile. But now it's here... or rather, almost here. The full game isn't out yet but the playtesting has begun. If you want to sign up and try Warzone Mobile, then you can find all the information you need beneath.

The Warzone Mobile alpha began in early June 2022, but it was a closed test, and all participants were specifically chosen by Call of Duty. The test is ongoing though, so there's still time to sign up as a playtester, and potentially you will still be chosen to join.

To join the alpha of Warzone Mobile, or Project Aurora (as they're officially calling it), you need to sign up to be a playtester with Call of Duty. To do this, all you need to do is leave them with your details here. But you should know, Activision heavily favor playtesters from Southern California, as they can invite these candidates to meet in-person as well as remotely. Good luck on being chosen!

The Warzone Mobile Beta is probably going to be released in the late summer, around the same time that the Modern Warfare 2 alpha and beta playtesting begins. We don't have an official date yet because they're keeping this project fairly secret for now, but we would be surprised if the beta was delayed to later in the year. Remember of course, these guys are directly competing with Apex Legends Mobile, so they can't afford to keep fans waiting.

And that was your complete overview of the Warzone Mobile alpha and beta playtests. Will you be hopping in to take the action to the small screen? Or are you going to be pre-occupied on the new Warzone map?

Call of Duty Mobile is currently the only COD experience on the go, but Activision is determined to deliver a Battle Royale-focused mobile game in the near future as they are going to begin Alpha testing in a few weeks.

As Activision claims, players will not have access to all features of the game during the closed alpha, but they will still require participants to answer a series of questions in multiple surveys in order to provide feedback for the development team. All the features that you will experience during the test are subject to change.

Verdansk may have left CoD Warzone, but the map appears to be making a return with Project Aurora. The leaked footage from the alpha test shows a map that is identical to the original Verdansk. This will come as a treat for fans who have been asking for its return to Warzone.

The closed alpha test for the game is currently underway and the leaked footage is likely from here. Only some players have been invited to participate in the alpha to test out the game and offer feedback. Activision has said that more players will be slowly invited to participate in the test.

The closed alpha test for the mobile version of COD Warzone (nicknamed Project Aurora) will commence in early June 2022. To gear players up, Activision has already started sending out invites to a select few players to test out the features of the project. Sadly, there is no way for battle royale enthusiasts to join the closed alpha test if they have not been sent the invite.

Mobile gamers who are accepted into the closed alpha test will have to adhere to strict non-disclosure policies and not stream, record, or screenshot the battle royale game. Periodic surveys will be conducted by the developers to collect feedback from the testers.

Despite being an alpha test, the game will be updated throughout to ensure that mobile gamers have a polished experience of the game before its actual launch. Test matches and bug fixes will be the highlight of the test. Activision has also stressed that the features in the alpha test are subject to change and are not the final result of what mobile gamers at large will experience in the future.

The images were first posted on Twitter by RealiityUK, who reportedly discovered them in a datamine during an alpha test of the mobile version of Call of Duty: Warzone (What they were doing there is anyone's guess). Interestingly, the user's Twitter account has now been suspended, which lends a certain level of credibility to what they've shared. Thankfully, the leaked shots are currently still available on ResetEra at the time of writing, thanks to user vestan.

Call of Duty (COD) Warzone Mobile is currently in its private alpha testing phase under the name Project Aurora. Recent leaks revealed gameplay footage for the upcoming mobile title. The in-game mechanics are similar to other Battle Royale games such as PUBG Mobile and COD Mobile. The leaked footage also indicates the return of the fan-favorite map Verdansk which was featured in the PC version of COD Warzone back in March 2020. The Gulag system has also been revealed to be a part of the mobile title where players die on the battlefield and then get taken to a separate arena where they stand a chance to be able to jump back into the Warzone.

COD Warzone Mobile will be released next year, and players worldwide are excited about the launch. The developers have been taking in pre-registrations since September 2022. Activision is giving away rewards to players once a particular milestone is reached in the pre-registration numbers. Many players worldwide have been able to play the game as part of the closed alpha test. The alpha test ended on October 31, 2022, and just before that Activision announced that they will be adding a Multiplayer mode in COD Warzone Mobile.

So far, Rainbow Six Mobile has undergone alpha testing and recently had a closed beta for select countries. Ubisoft has initially confirmed a 2022 release window for Android and iOS, leaving the pre-registration up to the Play Store. However, it only recently finished a closed beta in late 2022, including improving quality of life based on the beta feedback, so it's now clear the launch will happen sometime in 2023. As of July 2023, the game has finished a second closed beta cycle, hinting that a soft launch will soon follow. Given the soft launch to Canada, we anticipate a hard release around the corner. If you're absolutely itching to know more, check out the news for maps on the official Rainbow Six Mobile website.

Right now, Valorant is only on PC, so a mobile release would mean players who don't own a gaming rig can finally try out Valorant. Valorant is a 5v5 CS: GO-styled hero shooter where you face off against opponents on the attack or defense; combine your skill with your quick thinking, and you'll truly feel at home while playing Valorant. The game on PC is also known for its aggressive anti-cheat measures, meaning you can expect Riot Games to put that same level of care into the mobile port. Valorant Mobile was announced in 2021, and we already know that smaller-scale beta tests have been conducted, and there's still room for an accessible beta release date in the next few months. The release window was between 2022 and 2023, but now that 2022 is over with, the date is narrowed down to 2023 (potentially early 2024). So expect news on beta tests to come in the meantime.

Ubisoft's latest Assassin's Creed title is set to take place during Ancient China. Character creation and open-world gameplay will appear in this mobile iteration, so expect a full-fledged triple AAA Assassin's Creed game this time. The game is free-to-play and shouldn't feel much different in quality from the former console title entries, so anyone looking to get their feet wet into Assassin's Creed should look forward to this one. There is no set release yet; besides, it is "coming soon," leading toward a potential launch for this year. Since the reveal at Gamescom, Ubisoft started making noise about an upcoming 2nd closed beta test for global, hopefully, that gives us some insight into the game's current state. 2351a5e196
