Conference: 25-27 May 2026
Submission deadline: 31 January 2026, 11.59pm GMT
Decisions: by mid-March 2026
This will be the 14th edition of our annual PhD conference, hosted by the Department of Economics and generously supported by the CAGE research centre. It is organised by PhD students in the department and attended by students and faculty members. It is an exceptional opportunity to receive feedback on your work, to understand what your international colleagues are working on, to build up networks, and to improve your presentation skills.
The conference will take place over 3 days, starting with lunch on 25 May and ending with lunch on 27 May. There will be six sessions covering all mainstream areas of Economics, as well as a poster session. Besides the presentations, there will be plenty of opportunities to socialise and network with fellow students at joint meals and drinks. Accommodation and meals for presenters are provided, and we offer generous travel funding (more details in the Call for Papers).
In previous years, we have hosted students from many countries all over the world. The programmes for previous editions can be found using the links in the navigation bar.
