When your channel is created and published,
If you have completed some of these steps before the workshop, we can try to answer specific questions related to your AR construction.
Before, during, and after this meeting, feel free to browse through the Resources section of this website (see the top level menu). If you would like to share some information about your AR experience let me know and we can post it so others can benefit from your findings.
What to bring to the workshop:
Your laptop with WiFi -- you should already have an email account you wish to be used as part of the signup process to get a Hoverlay account.
For this workshop I am offering a limited number of emails: yourname@wart.win that will be forwarded to your real email. For example, hello@wart.win forwards to my personal email. Send a note to hello@wart.win and we can set this up before the workshop.
Think about some names for your Channel and Spaces - they can be changed later as needed.
Bring some AR content (objects) that you want to place in your space (save the file to your computer or put it on a USB):
Note that JPG will be opaque, and PNG can allow transparency around the "solid" part of the image.
Button (icon/image/graphic for the button and a URL to which the link will go)
Text - Introduction, description, credits, can be placed as an object in your space.
AMA (Ask Me Anything)
As always, ask me anything about AR about which you are curious. I can refer the questions to others who know more about the industry, and until I get too busy I can help you with your AR project. Resources are available from many people, including spherical cameras and green screens (both Peter E and I have portable ones, although the WinCAM studio has a large green screen space for wider / larger shots).
