1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
War Survival Guide is designed to collect as little data as possible.
Data we collect:
• Subscription status via RevenueCat and Google Play (to verify Pro access)
• Anonymous crash reports for app stability (no personal identification)
Data we do NOT collect:
• Your name, email address, or any personal identifiers
• Your location (the map uses your GPS only on-device — never transmitted to our servers)
• Your reading history or article preferences
• Any data from your map markers (stored locally on your device only)
2. HOW YOUR DATA IS USED
• Subscription status is verified to enable or restrict Pro content
• Crash data (if any) is used solely to fix bugs
3. THIRD PARTY SERVICES
This app uses the following third-party services which have their own privacy policies:
• Google Play — handles all payments. We never see your payment details.
• RevenueCat — manages subscription verification. See: revenuecat.com/privacy
• Firebase (Google) — delivers Pro article content. See: firebase.google.com/support/privacy
• Unsplash — provides article images loaded directly from their CDN
• Amazon Associates — affiliate links in the Shop screen. Clicking links may set Amazon cookies. We receive no personal shopping data from Amazon.
4. MAP MARKERS
Map markers you create are stored only on your device using local storage. They are never transmitted to any server. Uninstalling the app removes all markers permanently.
5. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
This app is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
6. DATA RETENTION
We do not maintain a user database. There is no account system. Your device data can be removed at any time by uninstalling the app.
7. YOUR RIGHTS
Since we do not collect personal data, there is nothing to request deletion of from our servers. Map markers and cached articles exist only on your device and are deleted when you uninstall the app.
8. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this policy. The latest version will always be available in the app.
