Here you will find descriptions of some of the group camps at WW 30.
Authentic Encampment
The Authentic Encampment is a space for campers and classes that want to pursue a higher level of authenticity and operates as an open learning environment. We host a lot of classes, competitions, and displays but free-range nerding is also welcome and we encourage you to just stop by and see what we are up to! There is a formal open house time on Saturday afternoon, but there's always something fun and educational going on, so please do visit!
The campers in the Authentic Encampment commit to using period materials and items wherever possible and, at a minimum, keeping modern items out of sight. If you are willing to take on this challenge and would like to camp with the AE, please reach out to Eithni to discuss your camp facilities and find out if AE is right for you! Eithni’s email address is eithni at gmail.com
Jararvellir Encampment
The Jararvellir Encampment is a space for people who would like to camp near other members of the barony. New to the Jararvellir area and don't know anyone? You are welcome to camp with us! To join us, please pick Barony of Jararvellir in the land list on the pre-registration form.
Nordskogen Encampment
TE Excellencies of Nordskogen welcome all who wish to camp with us. Typically our campmates consist of Nordskogen members, but baronial membership is not required. Our only requirement is to fill out this form: Nordskogen WW Camp
All tent types / set-ups are allowed and noting there is not a common kitchen / meal plan. Our requests are to keep the Baronial Pavillion (common space / optional class space) clean, help your neighbor, and consider a volunteer shift. While we are searching for a WW Camp Manager and Baronial Pavillion Host, please contact the Baronesses for additional guidance or questions.
