Community Service
While each member has the obligation to perform community service, health and safety remains our top priority. For this school year, the annual service hour requirement has been replaced by a series of monthly service projects. These projects will provide our members with greater flexibility while maintaining our high standards of leadership and service.
2023-2024 Service Requirement
Each member must perform one service project per month from October to May (eight projects total).
What is a service project?
It is an unpaid volunteer service that you provide to help people in your community.
What are some examples of service projects?
Deliver groceries to a senior citizen once a week for a month.
Give Blood.
Make cards for senior citizens and deliver to a senior citizen home.
Read with a child once a week for a month.
Tutoring on WebEx once a week for a month.
Team up with other members to clean up a park.
Organize a children’s book drive and donate to an elementary school.

How do I get credit for my service project?
You must complete the form below to log completion of your service project. You are required as evidence to submit a picture and/or a reflection about your service project that you completed.
Failure to submit your service project may result in probation and subsequently dismissal from NHS.
