The Warren Fire Department is a volunteer department that has been providing emergency services to the town of Warren, Rhode Island since 1802. The town of Warren is a unique place as it is the smallest town in the smallest county in the smallest state. The WFD serves approximately 11,000 residents within 8.7 square miles.
Warren Fire Department consists of a chief, a deputy chief, four assistant chief's, seven captains, and twenty lieutenants. The department consists of six fire company's and one rescue squad that operates at the advanced life support level. Warren Fire Department does approximately 2,500 runs a year.
