Waldorf, MN

Per the 2025 Waseca County Hazard Mitigation Plan, Waldorf plans to replace their Allertor with a new siren due to age and issues with the siren. This is scheduled to occur between 2026 and 2031, pending grant funding.

3/12/24 - Model 5 has been removed and lies in a collector's possession.

ACA Allertor 125 (10/12) - Siren is original to town, however the newer housing was from another Allertor due to the original getting damaged. Located at the community center. The FD has a manual switch inside that they bump it with after monthly tests to face it east to avoid wind/snow/ice issues. Photos taken 2/25/25. Copyright Christopher Aylward.

FS Model 5 - Removed in summer of 2025. Installed in 1962 to replace a 2 1/2 hp siren (suspected to be a Champion). Was located at the community center.
