Privacy Policy — Warm Static: Cozy Repair Shop
Warm Static: Cozy Repair Shop · Effective date: 13 October 2026 (2026-10-13)
The short version
• The game doesn't collect, store or share any personal data.
• There are no ads, no analytics, no tracking and no accounts.
• The game works fully offline. Your save stays on your device.
Who we are
Warm Static: Cozy Repair Shop (“the game”) is made by Dayne Hall (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what happens to information when you play it.
Information we collect
None. The game doesn't ask for, collect, receive or share any personal information. That includes your name, email address, contacts, location, photos, files, advertising ID and device identifiers. We run no servers, so there is nowhere for your data to go. The only time we ever see anything from you is if you choose to email us (see Contact).
Your save data
Your progress is stored only in the game's private storage on your device. That covers things like money earned, bench levels, achievements and settings. We never see it.
• Android backup. If backup is turned on for your device, Android may include the game's save in your device backup, stored in your own Google account. Google manages this under your account and device settings, and we can't access it. You can change this in your device's backup settings.
• Save codes. If you tap “Copy save code” in Settings, the game copies a text code to your device's clipboard. It goes nowhere else unless you choose to paste it somewhere.
Ads, analytics and third parties
The game contains no advertising, no analytics, no in-app purchases and no third-party tracking or data-collecting libraries. It doesn't need an internet connection.
The rate and privacy policy buttons (in Settings and the More tab) open the Google Play Store or your web browser, outside the game. Those apps and websites have their own privacy policies.
Google Play
You download the game through Google Play, which is run by Google under Google's Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy). Like every developer on Google Play, we can see anonymous, aggregated statistics from Google, such as install counts. If you've chosen to share usage and diagnostics with Google, we may also see anonymous crash reports. None of this identifies you to us.
Permissions
The only permission the game uses is vibration, for optional haptic feedback, which you can turn off in Settings. Android grants it automatically, so you never see a prompt for it. The game doesn't access your location, contacts, camera, microphone, photos or files, and it doesn't use the internet.
Children
The game is designed for players aged 13 and over. It collects no personal information from anyone, including children.
Your choices
Because we hold no data about you, there's nothing for us to access, correct, delete or sell. To erase your progress, use Settings → Reset all progress in the game, clear the app's data, or uninstall it. We don't sell or share personal information.
Changes to this policy
If anything changes, we'll update this page and the effective date above before the change takes effect.
