This carousel has a long history. Circus Circus Carousel (PTC #11) was built in 1906 by Philadelphia Toboggan Company as a two level platform menagerie carousel where it first operated at Willow Grove Park as the second carousel, then to Cape May. Rebuilt into 64R by PTC in 1923 and later (circa 1933) moved to Coney Island as one of the carousels operating there. The carousel operated at Circus Circus from 1968 until the 1970s, it is rebuilt with new scenery and platform. The carousel traveled with Reithoffer Shows until it was broken up in the 1980s.
