You get EXP for completing daily tasks, (write on the mission how much you get), and also you get them for wasting energy (equal to the energy you spent).

By the way, the jump between level 120 and level 130, is big, so level 130 is like level 155,
I'm so sorry I stopped getting EXP it was a serious mistake it stuck to my progress.
Tip: In my opinion, you need to first understand which heroes are good and which are not, and then go up to level 130 at top speed with only 5-7 heroes, your focus is only on them.
