B.E. in Mechanical Engineering, Panjab University, 2008–2012
M.E. in Industrial Materials and Metallurgy, Punjab Engineering College, 2013–2015
Ph.D in Mechanical Engineering, University of Louisville, 2018–2024
Saransh received his BE in Mechanical Engineering from Panjab University in 2012. During his masters in Industrial Materials and Metallurgy at Punjab Engineering College, he conducted finite element analysis of a lifting J-hook made from Austempered Ductile Iron (ADI) to examine the effect of strain-induced martensitic transformation on its mechanical properties. As a doctoral researcher in the PMML lab (UofL) under the guidance of Dr. Badri Narayanan, he utilized a variety of atomistic modeling techniques to investigate structure-property relationships, defect dynamics and chemical reactions in novel high performance materials for applications in batteries and nano-electronics. He enjoys playing cricket and table-tennis in his free time.
2nd Year PhD Student - mxs2064 [at] case [dot] edu
B.S in Chemical Engineering, Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology, 2014–2018
M.S. in Chemical Engineering, Yeungnam University, 2021–2023
Hasan completed his B.S in Chemical Engineering at Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology in 2018. He worked as process engineer in a cloralkali process plant for two years and in a natural gas condensate refinery for one year. He pursued his MS in chemical engineering at Yeungnam University, South Korea, in 2023. In his MS, he worked on defect engineering of perovskite fluoride and its composite with MXene for the application in supercap and zinc aqueous battery. He likes badminton and mountains.

B.S in Chemical Engineering, The Pennsylvania State University, 2019–2023
Noah completed his B.S. in Chemical Engineering at The Pennsylvania State University in 2023. During his time at Penn State, he worked under Dr. Ezra Clark performing research on the electrocatalytic reduction of carbon dioxide. He also held an internship position in the inspection/quality control lab at the Basic Carbide tungsten carbide production plant in Buena Vista, PA. Some of his hobbies include weightlifting, hiking, and fishing.
CWRU Undergraduate Student - cde30 [at] case [dot] edu
I joined CWRU in Fall 2023 and I expect to graduate in May 2027. My major is Chemical Engineering. My hometown is in Darío, Nicaragua in Central America. I am deeply interested in approaching Chemical Engineering research through data analysis and computational approaches. My hope is to work towards applying my research knowledge to solve pressing environmental concerns. I also play chess and enjoy watching movies from different cultures and times.
CWRU Undergraduate Student - jst94 [at] case [dot] edu
I joined Case Western Reserve University in the spring of 2022 and I will graduate in 2025 with majors in computer science and mathematics. I was born and raised in the Cleveland area, and I'm interested in the application of computer science and mathematical principles within other disciplines. My favorite hobbies are driving and snowboarding.
