TEACHING METHODS
According to my observation at Education High School, UST. They represent the eight core values of the school and also named the sections for Grades 7-10 as following; Dignity, Honesty, Justice, Piety, Respect, Responsibility, and Simplicity. One thing that I was surprised by my observation is praying before starting every class, because I'm a Buddhist, I do not have to pray before class, this is quite different from my experiment. After everyone prayed, the teacher always starts word power of the day to let their students share some ideas together. This activity is a very good way to make students feel enthusiastic and concentrate to learn new things. While teacher was teaching, they always ask students to answer and share some ideas with their friends and do some activities to help them learn more about what they have learned. The teachers always encourage them as students-centered learning to let them show their potentiality or ability to do something, and also playing games in the class. Before they finish the class, if the teachers had any announcements about activities, they would tell them and answer their questions, then also pray to God together.
LEARNING MATERIALS AND INNOVATION
Mostly the teacher's teaching materials are used in the Education High School, UST are presentations, random calling and playing games. If whoever answers the question correctly, they will get extra points or some snacks to raise their interest or enthusiasm in the class.
SOURCE OF LEARNING AND TECHNOLOGY
In Education High School, there are coursebooks or textbooks that follow the curriculum that are the source of learning. Additionally, the teacher may search materials that are related to the lessons to help their learning process such as PowerPoint, YouTube videos, songs, short stories, etc.
Authentic assessment used by the teachers
According to my observation, the authentic assessment that the teachers use are ; Formative assessment such as Q&A, Genialy, Dante's, Inferno, Quizizz, Collaborative activities, Assignments. And Summative assessment such as Examination and Performance Task. These are the authentic assessments used by the teachers to collect the scores of the students in the classroom.
