Stylish Nonsense is a Thai electronic duo formed by Yuthana Kalambaheti (June) and Wannarit Pongprayoon (Pok). Active since the early 1990s, the duo has built a distinctive voice in Southeast Asia’s experimental and electronic music scene.
Their music is created entirely through live improvisation, transforming each performance into a one-time experiment where rhythm, melody, and noise evolve moment by moment. Rather than following genres or trends, Stylish Nonsense treat sound as an open language — unpredictable, spontaneous, and sometimes humorous.
Drawing early influence from 1980s Thai pop, Japanese video game soundtracks, and alternative rock bands like Crub and Blur, their sound has gradually expanded to include traces of acid rave, grunge, and ambient textures. Yet their essence lies not in style but in freedom — to make music that exists only in the present.
Over the past two decades, Stylish Nonsense has performed across Asia and Europe — including Japan, Korea, Singapore, Vietnam, Indonesia, Philipine, France, Germany, Belgium, Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Poland, Switzerland, Italy, Slovenia, Surbia, Kosovo, Macidonia, Spain, Portugal, — connecting underground communities through their restless creativity.
