Hi, I am Haichao Wang, I am a computational biologist with wet lab skills.

I've completed my PhD training (viva passed) at Cancer Research UK Cambridge Institute (CRUK-CI), University of Cambridge. During PhD, I worked on analysing plasma cell-free DNA whole-genome sequencing data and developing machine-learning models for cancer detection.

I am experienced in analysing high-throughput molecular sequencing data. I am interested in building multi-modal machine-learning tools with real-world impacts (e.g., in clinical settings).

I am an R developer and a data visualisation enthusiast. Keep in touch.

Mar 2024

I attended CNAPS2024 in Graz, Austria

I gave a poster talk about cfDNA whole-genome sequencing data analytical impacts and cfDNAPro R package - a one-stop solution for cfDNA fragmentomics. Stay updated about its coming paper manuscript.

July 2023

I attended ECCB/ISMB in Lyon, Frace

I gave poster and oral presentation about cfDNAPro and data analysis standardization of cfDNA sequencing data.
