I'm Fan Wang, a researcher specializing in computer-generated holograms (CGH) and three-dimensional (3D) displays.
Since April 2025 , I joined the Department of Electricity and Electronics, Faculty of Engineering, Chiba University, Japan as an assistant professor. From October 2023 to April 2025, I served as a post-doctoral researcher at Chiba University, funded by the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS). I completed my Ph.D. in September 2023 from the Faculty of Engineering at Chiba University, advised by Prof. Shimobaba, with a primary focus on advancing CGH algorithms and elevating the performance of holographic displays.
My research primarily revolves around polygon-based CGHs, including the development of innovative algorithms and the establishment of a comprehensive generation pipeline. I am passionate about advancing open, collaborative, and creative science. In my free time, I enjoy outdoor activities like hiking, climbing, and skiing.
