Chundong Wang was born in Shandong Province, China (中国山东). In July 2008, he graduated with a bachelor's degree from Xi'an Jiaotong University (西安交通大学) in Xi'an, Shaanxi, China. In November 2013, Chundong obtained the doctoral degree in the School of Computing (SoC) of the National University of Singapore (新加坡国立大学). His supervisor is Associate Professor Weng-Fai Wong.
Chundong has joined ShanghaiTech University as a tenure-track assistant professor in April 2020. He has several open positions for Master's student, Postdoctoral Research Fellow, and Research Assistant/Associate/Engineer.
