This Privacy Policy explains how WANDERER'S ISLAND ("we", "us", "our") collects and uses your information when you play on our servers and use our Discord integration via WhalleyBot.

1. Information We Collect
When you link your account to play on WANDERER'S ISLAND, we collect:

Discord User ID and Username
Steam ID (Steam64) and Steam Username / Display Name
The link between your Discord and Steam accounts
Server gameplay data related to your account (playtime, in-game actions, bans/warnings)

We do NOT collect your Steam password, email address, or Discord password.

2. How We Use Your Information
We use your Steam ID and Discord ID to:

Link your Discord to your in-game character
Grant whitelist / roles and verify ownership
Moderate the server, prevent cheating, ban evasion, and enforce rules
Provide support

3. Third-Party Services
We use:

Discord - For authentication and roles
Steam - For Steam ID verification
WhalleyBot / Whalley - To handle the Discord <-> Steam linking process
Your data is subject to their own privacy policies.

4. Data Storage and Retention
Your linked Discord ID and Steam ID are stored securely in our private database as long as you are a member of our community. If you leave our Discord and request deletion, we will delete the link within 30 days unless needed for a active ban/moderation record.

5. Data Sharing
We do NOT sell, trade, or give your Steam ID or Discord ID to third parties. We will only share data if required by law.

6. Your Rights
You may unlink your accounts at any time by leaving our Discord or contacting Discord to request deletion of your linked data.

7. Children's Privacy
Our servers are not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

8. Changes
We may update this policy. The latest version will always be at WANDERER'S ISLAND - Privacy Policy
