Women in Applied Mathematics

The workshop “Women in Applied Mathematics” will be held online on February 19 2021 and it is supported by the Hellenic Foundation for Research and Innovation (H.F.R.I) under the "First Call for H.F.R.I. Research Projects to support Faculty members and Researchers".
The workshop will be organized for women in Applied Mathematics to meet together for a day of talks and discussion groups. The talks will be given by expert women mathematicians but also shorter talks will be given by junior researchers. The event will provide an opportunity to meet and talk with women who are active and successful in mathematics. The aim of this workshop is to promote Applied Mathematics in Greece in general and to attract talented women to a career in mathematics by promoting the presence of female speakers and scientists already involved in research.
