Try-Out Information

Thank you for your consideration for trying out for the 2026-2027 cheer season! We appreciate everyone's hard work and effort during this process! Please remember that competition teams will be name at a later date per KHSAA guidelines.

Each athlete will be required to perform the Sideline Cheer with a transition of spiriting into the Cheer. After finishing the cheer, each athlete will then perform the Band Dance. 

NOTE: The sideline cheer will be repeated 3x. The 1st time through will be motions (as shown in the video). FOr the 2nd and 3rd time through, each athlete will be required to utilize a prop (megaphone or sign) of their choice. Each athlete may utilize the prop as they wish and are not required to follow the choreo as demonstrated in the video. The video provides an demonstration on what is to be expected when utilizing a prop.
