Mandatory Rental Car Requirements
Customer must have a valid driver’s license and bring it with. - no one else can drive the vehicle unless on the rental agreement and present at pick up
Must be 21+
Customer must have valid FULL COVERAGE auto insurance (does not have to be for the car they brought in, just must have auto insurance)
No smoking No Pets
Must bring the vehicle back with the same amount of gas
In House Rental Process: Please send an email to bdc_Hondaservice@walser.com to request a rental. Make sure to include the rental op code on the appointment. A service advisor will call the client back if a rental will be available for their scheduled appointment. Prices start at $48.00 a day, depending on vehicle type and mileage. Must have a CREDIT CARD to rent a vehcile no exceptions.
MAINTENANCE PROGRAMS
Starting 10/1/2019: Walser now offers 2 free oil changes and tire rotations through Walser Care with every new vehicle sold.
The guest doesn't need to purchase anything, it comes free with their new car. Expires 1 year from date of purchase (original owner only, does not transfer).
For all 2023 models do not qualify for walser care free 2: it will fall under the HONDA manufacturer Program - includes 2 oil changes and tire rotations. BDC does not have access to see the Maintenance program for customers. The maint light HAS to be on for Honda to pay for the services. They will not do this if the light is not on. We do need to be informing guetss of this.

Starting June of 2015 Honda started offering free tire rotations with the purchase and installation of the tires for the life of that tire

MANUFACTURER OIL CHANGES
Honda Manufacturer has started offering free oil change and tire rotations for 2year/24K whichever comes first on all 2023 modles. A few things about this program.
They minder code/oil precentage/wrench HAS to be displayed on the main dash (not the radio screen) for the service to be at no cost, A1. If it is not on their display we will not perform the no cost service. (We can still do the oil/rotate, but they will have to pay for it if they want it early)
If the display shows A16- only the A1 part is paid for under this new maintenance program.
The guests WILL NOT receive the 2 free oil changes from the Walser Honda Dealership.
They can still purchase OTR packages
Guests WILL NOT be able to go to any Walser Dealer for these services, BUT they can go to any HONDA dealer.
In CDK the op codes will show up under special promotions (VIN Specific) as A2 A3 A4 etc. Those pricings DO NOT Include an oil change. You must put A or B then put A1, A2 A3 etc. to get correct pricing.

MANUFACTURER WARRANTY INFORMATION
Basic Warranty:
3 years/36,000 miles. Whichever comes first. (A promise made by a manufacturer or dealer to cover repairs and defects over the course of a certain amount of time and a certain amount of mileage.)
Powertrain Warranty:
5 years/60,000 Miles. Whichiever comes first. (Covers the parts of a car that provide power and make it move. Typically that involves the engine, transmission and drivetrain.)
Rentals: This is on a case by case basis, what Honda would like us to do if a customer is requesting a no charge rental/loaner is to let the customer know they will have to wait while we diagnose the problem and based on the diagnosis Honda may help cover the cost of a rental vehicle if the problem meets their guidelines.

EXTENDED WARRANTY INFORMATION

CNA National roadside assistance number
1-800-345-0191 ----> (Press 0 to connect to the operator who will transfer to roadside assistance) This only applies if the customer purchased the wrap package on purchase date.
The roadside assistance is for the life of the vehicle and additional stipulations are in their individual paper work. This is non-transferable to other owners or vehicles.
Warranty for Life
Starting in January of 2013 through March 31, 2019, Walser provided the Warranty for Life for all vehicles purchased that were less than 8 years old and had less than 60K miles at the time of sale. What is Warranty for Life:
Warranty for Life is a limited powertrain warranty that covers the main components of the vehicle that make it move: engine, transmission, and drivetrain
For most contracts: There is a disappearing deductible for the first 5 years of the warranty. If the work is done with a Walser dealership, there is no deductible. If at a non-Walser repair facility, there is a $100 deductible. After 5 years, there is a $300 deductible regardless of where repairs are performed. They must call CNA to confirm their deductible agreement on their contract.
Warranty for Life DOES NOT include roadside assistance unless that was purchased at the time of the sale.
Warranty for Life is through CNA National and cannot reliably be found in CDK/Autoloop and not on manufacturer’s website as it is a 3rd party extended warranty. If you have any questions, please contact service or sales. Customer is also welcome to contact CNA National with any questions at 800-345-0191 with specific questions.
Warranty for Life ended on March 31, 2019, as it was replaced by Autoguard. If the customer has Warranty for Life, there is no change to their coverage. The warranty is just no longer offered when customers purchase vehicles as they will now be under the Autoguard/WalserCare program.
CAR SHIELD WARRANTY: NO
Starting in 2015, customer is eligible for the roadside assistance if they are still under their Basic Warranty time frame and mileage: 3 years/36,000 miles whichever comes first.
