Wallet404 ("the app") is a personal expense tracker developed by an independent developer. This policy explains what the app does and does not do with your information. In short: your financial data never leaves your device, and the developer does not collect it.
We do not collect, transmit, sell, or store any personal data on any server. Wallet404 has no user accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party tracking.
The following is stored locally on your phone only, inside the app's private storage:
Expenses you enter (amount, category, note, date)
Monthly budget plans and any custom budget fields you create
Your chosen display name and profile picture
App preferences (theme, currency, default category, reminder setting)
This data is removed when you uninstall the app. It is not backed up to any service we control.
Microphone (RECORD_AUDIO) — used only when you tap the voice button, to let you speak an expense instead of typing it. Speech is converted to text by your device's own speech-recognition service (typically provided by Google). That service may process the audio according to its own privacy policy. Wallet404 does not record, store, or upload audio files.
Notifications (POST_NOTIFICATIONS) — used only if you enable the daily summary, to show a morning notification of what you spent the previous day. It is generated on your device.
Photos / media access — used only if you choose a profile picture. The selected image is copied into the app's private storage on your device and is never uploaded.
You can export your expenses to a CSV or PDF file. The file is created on your device and is only shared if you explicitly choose to share it using your device's share menu. We never receive a copy.
Wallet404 is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from them.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a revised date.
