About Us

Waller Animal Shelter is the first and only no kill rescue animal shelter in Waller County. It opened in November 2016 at the old jailhouse located on Elm Street that was build in the 1940s.

Our mission is to rescue dogs out of the local pounds before they are due to be euthanized. With the support of the community we are able to pay for vet care and help them find their new furever homes.

We are now a 501c3 nonprofit organization.
