Message from the Chairperson
On January 20, 2017, we entered a new and challenging era in American politics. We know, now, more than ever, we need to keep our eyes and ears open and to make our voices heard where oppression or hate seeks to take root. It is our duty, as Americans, to fight for those that can't fight for themselves and for those who do not know how to fight. On this day, we will ensure that our Constitution is upheld and our rights preserved. Today, we vow to ensure that our children have the best education, the safest streets and the comfort of knowing we are doing all we can to protect their liberties.
“They who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety.” - Benjamin Franklin, Memoirs of the life & writings of Benjamin Franklin.
“Those who deny freedom to others deserve it not for themselves.” - Abraham Lincoln.
