Flora Diversity Studies and Conservation
Introduction
WCL observe the floral species diversity to cover all landscape types starting from Pulisan Cape, North Sulawesi, Sulawesi ecoregion, and the Wallacea bioregion. The approach was by field survey using sporadic and sistematic transects and plots. Data also comes from citizen science approach using Sulawesi Plant group in PlantNet.org and Sulawesi Project under the Wallacea Umbrella Project in iNaturalist.org. WCL develops species database that also covers local use and geographical reference of each individual.
Goals
to study flora diversity in Pulisan Landscape,
to study the geographical distribution of flora species endemic to Sulawesi and Wallacea Bioregion in Pulisan Landscape.
to provide seedlings of charismatic flora of the Wallacea bioregion
